Our Vision

To be an outstanding school with teaching school status that inspires learning and unlocks the future for ALL our children in our school and throughout their community.  Built on our innovative and inclusive ethos and Christian values.


Mission/ Statement of Aims


  • Quality First Teaching and Learning: A rich specialist curriculum committed to our children. Understanding the power that excellent and inspirational teaching has to improve social mobility, wellbeing and outcomes.
  • Strategic Leadership - Compassionate Leadership with a proven capacity to sustain improvement and a relentless drive to raise standards and deliver an inspirational and broad curriculum.
  • Safety Safe, nurturing, learning environment which promotes wellbeing for all including our families and the wider school community.  Safeguarding is at the forefront of all we do, and children are exceptionally safe.
  • Coaching Culture - An environment that creates an open and honest staff culture where coaching is embedded, and everyone is a learner
  • Behaviour: Children listen and are listened to, are respectful, show empathy and understanding.  All children demonstrate a thirst for learning and are active in articulating this.
  • Financial management: Robust, decisive financial management to ensure the resources are available for the delivery of Quality First Teaching and learning underpinned by a strong business acumen with effective financial management.
  • Christian Values: Promote our Christian values of respect, truth, love, forgiveness and commitment in all that we do through our strong links with our three churches.

Three Year Strategic Priorities


SDP: Quality First Teaching, learning and assessment – delivered through outcomes, effectiveness in EYFS and increasing attendance -Develop an environment that enables every child in our school to have a thirst for learning and to reach their full potential and aspirations both academically and socially during and beyond their school experience.

SDP: Quality First Teaching PP/SEND and effectiveness of early years -Demonstrate outstanding practice with outcomes in closing the gap for children who face multiple social and learning disadvantages in our community.

SDP: Effectiveness Leadership and Management - Governance and Leadership - Deliver strong strategic leadership and accountability that provides strategic direction through a coaching style in all areas of performance and delivery to achieve our vision.

SDP: Personal Development, behaviour, welfare -Wellbeing and Christian distinctiveness - Build on the values of the school that represents our tripartite Christian distinctiveness by always being truthful, loving, forgiving, respectful and committed in all we do through looking after our children and the teams.

SDP: Financial stability -Be financially stable demonstrating value for money, effective resource management alongside increasing opportunities of financial growth.  

SDP: Marketing - Strengthen stakeholder relationships raising the profile and creating new opportunities for the school being the school of choice for the local community.

SDP: Children Centre -Support the transition in line with the strategic changes across children’s centre for Mole Valley, mitigating and minimising any negative impact on the staff teams and families.
