Welcome

Dear Parents and Carers,

On behalf of our children, staff and Governors I would like to welcome you to Leatherhead Trinity School & Nursery. We are a two-form entry primary school who deliver the highest quality education for children from Nursery to Year 6.

As a school, we serve our local community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice, and through working in close partnership with our three local church communities:

Leatherhead Parish Church

Christ Church (United Reformed) Leatherhead

Leatherhead Methodist Church

We encourage and understand the meaning and significance of faith and promote Christian values through the experiences we offer, and nurture, in all of our pupils, staff, governors and the wider community.

Our Christian values are:

Respect

"And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them."

Luke 6:31

Truth

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

John 8:32

Love

"Let us love one another, for love comes from God."

1 John 4:7

Forgiveness

"For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."

Matthew 6:14

Commitment

"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

Proverb 16:3

We also have a Communication and Interaction Needs Centre (COIN), which provides integrated education for children with Educational Health Care Plans. We focus on the young person’s successful inclusion in their mainstream class via an inclusive whole school ethos. The provision for each child is flexible classroom based, responding to the individual needs of the child.

We hope that you find everything you are looking for within our fully comprehensive website and that you develop a strong sense of our values and educational offer but, please contact the school office directly with any queries you may have. Alternatively, you are warmly welcomed to book an appointment to come and see the school in action for yourselves.

Kind regards,

Elizabeth Killin
