Autumn Term Events

Second Hand Uniform Sales 

These are held regularly throughout the term. Logo patches are also on sale at these. If you are in need of any uniform but are unable to make a sale please drop us an email or a message via Facebook.  We also hold one with fancy dress costumes just before half-term for you to get ready for Halloween and one in November for Christmas jumpers.

New Parents Welcome Bags

The Friends always hand out a "coffee morning in a bag" to welcome Reception parents to the school.

Ice Cream Fridays

During September, we carry on our popular Ice Cream Fridays where you can purchase an ice-cream at the end of the school day.  If the weather stays warm enough these can carry on into October.

Fireworks Night 

A great evening for all the family, with a wonderful display of fireworks.  BBQ, Refreshments, Hot drinks, Bar and glow in the dark toys are available to make the evening so much fun.  This is our biggest Fundraising event and enjoyed by everyone who comes.

Bingo Night

Our Bingo Night is back again this term after our successful first night last year. This is a great evening out for the parents (over 18's only).  Cash Prizes to be won, with a bar, refreshments and a raffle.

Mufti Days

We hold two mufti days a term with different themes, this term it's usually a Crazy Hair Day when the children pay to come to school with crazy hair and a non-uniform day when the children wear their own clothes in exchange for a donation for our Christmas Fair tombola's of either Sweets, Chocolates (no nuts), Bottles of alcohol or smellies

Christmas Fair 

This is a great family event with lots of stalls selling Christmassy items, food and drink.  There is always a Santa's grotto which the children love.

Elfridges Gift Shop

This was something new that we set up last year and is a Christmas Shop where you pay for the children to come to the shop and choose some Christmas Gifts to give to Family and Friends.  This is all paid for in advance and they can select up to three gifts.

Carol Concert 

This is a wonderful evening of listening to the children sing then enjoying refreshments, provided by The Friends, during the interval.

Christmas Discos 

Children come and have a great time in the school Hall.  Reception & KS1 disco is straight after school from 3:20pm to 4:30pm and they get a drink and treat included in their ticket price.  The KS2 disco is from 5pm to 6:30pm and they get to enjoy a tuck shop and raffle.

Personalised Christmas Cards

The Children are invited to draw a Christmas scene which is turned into beautiful Christmas Cards for them to take home and send to family and friends. Mugs, tea-towels and other items are also available to purchase.

AGM

The Annual General Meeting is held around November.  Officers are voted in to their posts and full reports are given on all the events from the previous year.

Spring Term Events

Valentine Cake Sale

To celebrate Valentine's Day we hold a cake sale. Parents are asked to kindly donate cakes for this event (homemade or shop bought but please no nuts) and then they are sold to the children after school.

Mufti Days

We hold two mufti days a term with different themes, this term it's usually a Pyjama Day when the children pay to come to school wearing their pyjamas and a Break the Rules Day when the children pay per rule from a set of rules that they break.

Mother and Other's Gift Shop

The children get to come to the gift shop to select a present for that Special Female in their lives, whether it's Mum, Step-mum, Gran, Nan, Auntie or someone else for Mother's Day.  Gifts are paid for in advance and are limited to one gift per child.

Easter Egg Raffle

Easter Discos

The discos are back for the children to have another boogie.

Throughout the Summer Term there are regular Fridays where the children can purchase an ice-cream at the end of the school day.

We hold two mufti days a term with different themes, this term we've had ones to celebrate the Queens Jubilee and the Kings Coronation in previous years and are still deciding on the theme for the first one but the second will be another non-uniform day when the children wear their own clothes in exchange for a donation for our Summer Fair tombola's of either Sweets, Chocolates (no nuts), Bottles of alcohol or smellies.

Gift Shop For those Marvellous Men

The children get to come to the gift shop to select a present for that Marvellous Male in their lives, whether it's Dad, Step-Day, Grampy, Grandad, Uncle or someone else for Father's Day.  Gifts are paid for in advance and are limited to one gift per child.

Sports Day

To help keep the spirits up at KS1 and KS2 Sports day we serve refreshments throughout the day (we are though only able to serve adults) and the day is normally finished off with an ice cream sale.

Summer Fair

Another big fundraiser for the year. The whole grounds are filled with activities for all the family including a BBQ, bar and refreshments and a number of trade stalls.  The last two years we have held a colour run where coloured powder gets thrown over the runners as they go past the different colour stations so that the runners are all multicoloured by the end of the run.  This is loads of fun (even if it rains).  

Summer Discos

These are very popular with the children and are a great way to finish off the academic year.

Glee Club 

The children that attend Glee Club put on a final show to parents and The Friends of Leatherhead Trinity are there to provide refreshments during the interval.

Bingo Night

We are hoping to hold another Bingo Night.

Krispy Kreme Sale

There will also probably be another Krispy Kreme Sale.

Easyfundraising 

This is an internet site that gives The Friends of Leatherhead Trinity commission when people shop online.  It is free to join and very easy to use. You can sign up here: https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/support-a-good-cause/step-1/?char=34346 and we hope that all parents will sign up, as it is such a simple way to raise money and costs you nothing. 

YourSchoolLottery

Sign up to our lottery at https://www.yourschoollottery.co.uk/lottery/school/leatherhead-trinity-school-and-nursery tickets cost £1 a week when you are in for a chance to win a weekly prize of £25000 or the school prize where the amount varies depending on how many people are playing each week.  There are also monthly grand prizes which change each month but in the previous year have included a £500 Lego Gift Card, games consoles, iPhones and more 

Clothes Colection Bin

We are about to get a permanent Clothes bin delivered at the school, this will be located in the top car park where you will be able to donate any unwanted clothes.

Coin Collection

We have a coin collection box in the reception where you can donate any unwanted foreign currency, whether it's unused Yen, Euros or Rand or outdated British Currency. 

Ink Cartridge Collection

We have a collection box under our red letterbox just inside the first set of doors to reception where you can leave your used ink cartridges.
