What our families say about Nursery

Families who visit our Nursery consistently tell us how positively children respond to the calm, nurturing environment and the care shown by staff. Many parents comment on how quickly children settle, how confident they become, and how much they enjoy coming to Nursery each day.

Our Nursery provides a safe and supportive space where children feel happy, secure and ready to learn. Staff know children well and carefully support their development through play‑based learning, positive relationships and thoughtful routines.

The learning environment is carefully organised both indoors and outdoors, giving children opportunities to explore, investigate and deepen their understanding across a wide range of early learning experiences. Children are encouraged to make choices, follow their interests and develop independence, supported by skilled adults who guide and extend learning through play.

Parents often highlight their children’s progress in areas such as early communication, language development, phonics and mark‑making, alongside growing confidence, creativity and social skills.

Below are some of the things parents have told us about Nursery life at Leatherhead Trinity School and Nursery.
