Choosing a school place is an important step, and we are proud to welcome families who are considering Leatherhead Trinity School and Nursery for their child’s Reception start and beyond.
We know that parents want to feel confident their child will be happy, safe and supported from the very beginning of their school journey. At Leatherhead Trinity, children are welcomed into a warm, nurturing environment where strong relationships, clear routines and high‑quality teaching help them settle quickly and grow in confidence.
Our Reception provision places a strong emphasis on early language development, phonics and reading, alongside purposeful play, outdoor learning and wellbeing. We work closely in partnership with families to support a smooth transition into school and to ensure every child feels known, valued and ready to learn.
Admissions to Reception and other year groups are coordinated by Surrey County Council, and we are always happy to speak with families who would like to find out more, arrange a visit or plan ahead.

Admissions Arrangements Reception - Year 6
The majority of our pupils join us in Reception and Year 3, although we do receive and welcome applications for children wishing to join us at other points in their schooling.
