These suggested activities below offer opportunities to help us stop and pay attention to our spiritual well-being and enrichment.
March to April 2020
Coronavirus has effected people worldwide,
People are dying
There family’s crying
Everybody says it will be fine
But I don’t believe them at this time
STAY HOME, SAVE LIFES ,PROTECT OUR NHS
The nurses/doctors on the front line doing their best!
We as a nation are strong
We clap as a family on Thursday and sing songs
It’s the least we can do
Hopefully COVID-19 will soon shoooo
Olivia's poem for our key workers
I clap for
I clap for the tireless commitment of the workers saving lives
To leave there loved ones as another day goes by
The heart break and pain refills their bodies
First the patients now the colleagues
I clap for
While they fight for our tomorrow
Boris will take no sorrow
Supermarkets stock up on kindness
Police deal with the blindness
I clap for
I clap for our heroes
I clap for the NHS
Aaron's Prayer (Bumblebee Class)
Thank you for keeping us safe.
Thank you for Doctors and Nurses.
Thank you for Teachers and Parents.
Thank you for friends and Grandparents.
Please look after them all.
I found this poem in one of my books and it made me think...
Web of Life
An invisible web,
as fragile as dreams,
links mountains to forests
and rivers to streams.
Through woodlands and forests;
where seas flow and ebb,
over ice caps and deserts,
life weaves a great web.
From plankton to whales,
all life great and small
depends on each other.
Life's web links us all.
And we must take care
of each gossamer thread,
for we are all part of
this great world wide web.
THANK YOU FOR KEEPING US SAFE BECAUSE OF THE VIRUS WHAT IS GOING OVER THE WORLD.
WE WANT TO THANK THE NHS FOR YOU KEEPING US SAFE.
WE MUST ALSO THANK THE POLICE, AMBULANCE DRIVERS, FIREMAN, SHOP WORKERS AND TRUCK DRIVERS. I WANT TO THANK MY MILKMAN SO WE CAN HAVE BREAKFAST EVERY DAY. WE SHOULD THANK PEOPLE TOO FOR LISTENING AND STAYING AT HOME.
WE ALL NEED WASH OUR HANDS, KEEP OUR FACES CLEAN AND OUR ENVIRONMENT.
WE NEED TO LOOK AFTER THE ELDERLY PEOPLE AND ASK IF THEY NEED HELP OR FOOD EVERYDAY.
A poem myself and George found that we thought might help :), Miss Stretch
Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard,
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
I've heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.
- Emily Dickinson.
Look after yourselves! See all you soon!

Please help the NHS in this difficult moment.
Please help the sick people.
Please help people who are far away to come back to their homes.
Please help us to stay positive and well.
Thank you God for everything we have and keep us in your guidance.
Apart but together,
Thank you for my soft warm bed,
My kiss goodnight and story read.
Thank you for those who are still awake
Working hard, without break
Those who keep us fed, keep us safe.
Looking after poorly people, being brave.
Please bring my mummy back to me in the morning when I wake,
Ease the sore mask lines on her face
Thank you for her soft warm bed.
So I can tuck her in and keep her safe
Thank you for all the bounties that you give me and thank you for keeping me alive and healthy during this dreadful time. I ask you to do this with others, especially the doctors who could be in trouble. Protect my family, friends, teachers, neighbours and even those whom I do not know. Get as many homeless people off the streets and cure the lame. Help us to make the world a better place for the next generation. Help us to crave your presence more than we crave sin.
Thank you for loving us, for walking with us and caring about the smallest details in our lives.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
