Lunchtime

At Leatherhead Trinity we endorse the importance of healthy food to nourish young minds, and offer nutritious school lunches.  Menus are rotated to ensure that meals are varied and interesting – as well as tasty. Special arrangements can be are made to suit children with particular dietary requirements.

All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are now entitled to receive a school lunch, through the introduction of the government's universal infant free school meals policy (known as complimentary meals). Please speak to our office for more information.

From September 2023, the cost of a school meal for those children in Years 3 to 6, will be £2.70 per day.  This amount needs to be paid via the Scopay App, before the child receives a meal.

Packed lunches

At Leatherhead Trinity we believe that a healthy enjoyable packed lunch gives children the energy they need to learn and play at school.  Please click on the link at the bottom of this page for information on how to provide a healthy lunch.

Themed lunches

Working alongside our kitchen staff we are able to offer lunches that are linked to special dates /events in the calendar year or the learning that the children are participating in.  In the past we have also covered themes such as:

  • The Hungry Caterpillar

  • Olympics

  • Golden Jubilee

Our themed lunches are becoming more and more popular which is great, If you would like more information on school dinners please pop into the office or click on the link below:
