Our community supporting science

Air Ambulance Kent, Surrey and Sussex have already been in to visit our Year 6 children to talk about what they do and the advances in technology and science that have allowed them to take their life-saving work out to save lives across the county.  They are also coming in again to train our children to ‘re start a heart’ as part of their national program.

We continue to work with American Schools Cobham and St Johns’ School in Leatherhead, who loan their science resources and equipment to us when possible and send students to support our lessons too.

We always enjoy the space dome visit to our school, which allows us to see our galaxy and beyond from the comfort of the school hall.

Suez and the recycling Centre have provided a huge range of resources for us to use when exploring science, from wheeled vehicles to pipes, buckets, scales, different materials and science books.
