Home Learning will be given out on Friday and should be handed in on the following Wednesday. If you have any questions about home learning, please speak to your child’s teacher.

Daily Reading
Every child needs to read daily (or 5 times over the week).  Please record this in the reading record.  Encourage your child to read for 10 and 15 minutes.  Below are some fun ways to practise reading in addition to daily reading.  If your child is struggling to find a genre of book they enjoy reading, please speak to your child’s teacher as we can give recommendations.

Times tables
Please support your child by practising their times on TTRS.  Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) is used across the school to support and develop our pupils' understanding of times table facts.  Your child’s logins are kept at the front of their reading records.  This term please focus on learning the 2s, 5s and 10s times tables. During our Celebration Assembly, the children thoroughly enjoy finding out which class is at the top of the school leader board and who has been awarded the weekly certificates.

Spellings
This term we are focusing on the year 3 statutory spelling rules.  Each week there is a new list of spellings. 

Maths
Children will be given fluency boost questions to complete each week.
