Our Quiet Reflective Area

The Quiet, Reflective area is back!

It can be found at the end of the downstairs corridor next to our Spiritual Area.   The displays are changed on a regular basis and are designed to be thought provoking and to stimulate reflection.

As part of a week thinking about Beautiful Britain, the Quiet Area allowed us to reflect on what Being British meant to us.
Winter was over and Spring was on it's way, so the Quiet Area was transformed to provide the last part of our Walk through Easter.   Follow our journey through the story of Easter and see how we reflected on what this story means for us today.
We produced a book to capture the fabulous responses and learning that had occurred during our Walk through Easter.
Advent was here, so a display was added to the main hall to help us appreciate what Advent means to Christians.

The Key Stage 2 Library Pod was transformed ... into a giant Nativity scene.
To link with Arts Week on Fire and Ice and to reflect the season of Winter, the Quiet Reflective area was redesigned as a 'winter wonderland'.
Year 6 helped to transform the Quiet Area into an area of Remembrance.   Thank you Year 6 for your fabulous poppies which were made as part of your work on Remembrance and World War II.

The first display in the new area was based around the theme of Autumn.   The children were invited to think about how the season of Autumn made them feel, what they might see during this season and how they might feel if they were in particular picture scenes.

The children were able to respond by hanging their thoughts and prayers onto a Response Tree.
