Last Friday afternoon, children in Year 1 visited Leatherhead Library. At the library, the librarians talked to us about the library and how we can take out books. Did you know that you can borrow up to 25 books at one time! We listened to several stories including ‘The Detective Dog’ by Julia Donaldson (our author of the term). We were also allowed to browse through the books. The children also got to choose a book, which they put aside, and can go back with their grown-ups at another time to take out. If you have a spare afternoon during half term, I would recommend a trip to the library! The children thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon at the library
