Just a couple of reminders:
Please remember that all PE kits must be brought into school every Monday morning, and taken home on Fridays, to be washed over the weekend. Please make sure all kit is clearly named. Trainers are not allowed to be worn other than for PE lessons or football club. PE is an important part of the curriculum and if there is any reason why your child cannot take part in a PE lesson please inform me in writing. PE kit consists of red shorts and a white t-shirt. For outside PE it is suggested they have trainers and black track suit bottoms and a red hoodie or school fleece jacket. All of these are available from the school suppliers:
Lunches should be brought to school in a suitable, named container. Please ensure that your child has a healthy packed lunch. Lunches should not be brought into school in a carrier bag.
Your child can bring a healthy snack (eg a piece of fruit, cheese or cereal bar) for break time but please can you pack this separately from their packed lunch as snacks are kept in the classroom. No sweets, crisps or biscuits are allowed. Your child should also have a water bottle in school which we would like them to take home daily to wash and refill. No chewing gum is allowed in school. Please can we remind you that no nuts are to be included in any snacks or lunches. If your child is doing an after school club you may wish to send them in with a healthy snack and drink.
How can you help?
We welcome any support either during the school day, on trips or for after school clubs. You could hear children read, support with ICT or Art/DT for instance. Whatever your skills, I would be delighted to hear from you!
How can I help?
If you have concerns about your child or would like to discuss how you can support your child’s learning at home, please make an appointment to see us through the school office.
