Admission Procedure – Reception Class

Applications for a place in one of our Reception classes must be made in the autumn of the school year in which your child has his/her 4th birthday, ready to start in the following September. Parents are encouraged to apply on-line, although the school offices will have a supply of these forms, together with the Surrey Primary Schools Admissions Booklet.

How to Apply

Nursery

Generally you should register your child for a nursery place well in advance of when they are eligible to start.  We take applications from when children are born. Parents wishing their child to attend the nursery must complete an application form clearly indicating their preferred option. Every effort is made to accommodate their wishes. Please contact either the Woodvill Road office 01372 813615 or the Aperdele Road office 01372 812754 for an application form. The school will endeavour to inform parents by letter of the outcome of their application at least one term before admission.

Reception - Year 6

Surrey County Council is responsible for all admissions from Reception and above.

Applications should be sent directly to Surrey County Council or completed online prior to the deadline. All admission procedures are dealt with by Surrey County Council, including the maintenance of any waiting lists should your child not be successful in securing a place at Leatherhead Trinity.

Offer
Surrey County Council will send out letters in late March/April confirming the offer of a place which you need to confirm in writing to the school by the  deadline stated. Please complete the yellow form and return it with your place acceptance form to the school.
